Hi! I’m Matt. Thanks for stopping by. I am a mid-30's finance professional living in Pittsburgh with my wife and two children. I grew up about an hour east of the city and have lived around Pittsburgh for most of my post-college life. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in January 2014 and I’ve been able to manage the disease purely by diet and exercise ever since (no medication and no insulin injections). I started this blog to provide guidance and advice to other like-minded diabetics that are highly motivated to stay off of medication.
